Quick delivery, small size Jan 13, 2010
Was VERY pleased by the unexpectedly fast shipment -- which I received just 1 day after ordering!

But after opening the box was disappointed to see the tote is a fairly small envelope-type tote, rather than the box-like tote (like the company's other totes) that I had been expecting. While I accept partial responsibility for this, I also believe the misleading item photo contributed to this wrong expectation. I had mistaken the yellow behind the tote as part of the tote itself, which I had presumed would fold out to create a box-like tote. Had I studied the image more carefully, maybe I would have realized the yellow is only a backdrop -- not at all part of the tote. Hopefully in time the supplier will realize the need to update the photo to better reflect the tote's actual size.

Good luck if you're expecting it to hold any more than perhaps a single jug of milk or an ice-cream carton. Just not gonna happen. But it should prove perfectly useful for keeping 1 big item or a few smaller items cold on the trip home from the grocery store.

Also worth noting is the erroneous size listed for the item, which is just slightly exaggerated. The actual usable size of the tote (inside the velcro) is 14" x 10.75".

I have had this for quite some time so I feel like i have had enough time to give an accurate review. I am a heavy grocery shopper(large family) and these lasted for about 2-3 trips then guess what...the freaking handles came off the bag. What good is the bag without the handles. If you go to the store only to buy 3-4 items then I recommend this but if you plan to buy more you will be disappointed when you get that unexpected rip.

I see why they give these out free with orders. Like another reviewer said, it's like an envelope. It can hold a pack of frozen peas but not much more. Rather than buy it and pay extra for shipping, buy the grocery bags and get the insulated bag for free.

I was excited to get these bags, but they are flat like an envelope. They don't open to hold much so they are of very little value.
