I have purchased several of these bags and they work fairly well. What can you expect for this price? There are two problems I've found. The interior lining tears very easily. Any boxes you may have: butter, milk, frozen foods, etc, will tear it. The second is the handles; they work fine in carrying the bag but the tendancy is to open the bags by grabbing and pulling the handles apart. As noted by another reviewer, the velcro grabs strongly. The handles are stitched for strength in carrying the bag but not for pulling apart. They easily tear away from the bag. This is why they now stress 'Now With EASY OPEN Pull Tabs'. I hope they work. Cashiers and baggers most likely use the handles to tear open the bags, as the tabs are relavitely small, so I suggest you open the bags before they get filled. This of couse is not a problem at home when you pack it yourself.

I was concerned about carrying around meat from the grocery store about 20 minutes away during the warm months. I was considering buying a cooler, but it just didn't seem as practical as this little bag. I bring it with me whenever I go grocery shopping and I don't need to worry about running home as fast as possible, I think everyone should have a few of these especially when you get caught on a long check out line or live far from your grocery store.

These have a nice liner that is stronger than that old plastic liner. The velcro closure is strong and much quicker than the snaps on our last one. We got the 3 pack and keep it in the card for those 30 minute drives to town.

I just purchased a bunch of these. The measurements are deceptive. You aren't getting a bag that is 20" x 16" x 8" which gives you 2560 cubic inches of space. The 20" is from side seam to side seam. This makes the bag much smaller and inadequate for the purpose for which I purchased it! =o(
