I have had these bags about five months now and have to say I'm very pleased. As cheap as they were I was a little worried to be honest, but I ordered over 60 of them for an earth day giveaway and not one had any serious defects. More importantly, I have seen grocery clerks who are so busy day-dreaming they put two one gallon containers of milk in the bag and try to shove stuff on top of that and even with well over 20lbs. worth of weight the handles and stiches held. From the ones I keep in my trunk with car cleaning supplies to the ones I actually use to carry home groceries, I can honestly say I abuse these bags and have found them to be not just a much more environmentally friendly choice, but a much more sturdy and comfortable choice than plastic or paper bags.

Keep these on hand to avoid a gifting problem Dec 06, 2011

Admit it, you have an item you try to desperately stuff in the only paper gift bag you have. Just as you come close to getting it down into the bag it splits open. Now what? I suggest ordering several packs of these gift bags and keeping them on hand. Why??
1. I easily stuffed a 60 inch long, seven inch wide bulky yarn scarf into one of the medium size gift bags and it didn't split.
2. If you want to decorate the bags go for it. I used stickers, not much of artist and they look good plain.
3. It can be used for presents given to both men and women.
4. The per item cost is less than what you would pay for some paper bags.
5. And they're two gifts in one, since the bag can be used again.

I bought these to use as a gift bag for the guests that stay overnight, and they are prefect. They will nicely fit the contents we were planning on putting in them:
2 bottle of water
5 Single serve snack items
4 mini liquors
2 Shot Glasses

I bought 12 of these bags to use for Christmas presents for my friends. I am very pleased with the quality, price, and durability of the bags. They all seemed to be in good condition. I love that they are reusable and even cheaper than most disposable paper bags, so it's a win-win.

These came to me as promised. Just what I needed to finish a Christmas project. Each one will have a scarf I knitted with that person's name on front. They are reusable, look strong and in a festive red. Still cannot believe the price for what I got!
