They are great, they hold so much, what would normally fit in two plastic bags fits in one of these and are better for the environment. I got four sets of 5 in different colors, so I have 10 and my husband has 10 and we keep them in our cars in case we need something from the store. We also get a discount when we use them. I wash them once a month, and they hold up very well. I even have people ask me all the time where I got them at. Love that they have the 2 corner pockets for things you want to keep upright and away form other stuff. They were a great buy.

I came across these while looking to replace canvas totes for groceries. They stand up open which makes them easy to load and unload and are very strong. The $6.60 shipping puts the price per bag over $4 a piece, a far cry from the $2.50 selling price.

It's been a long time since I bought these bags since this review. I can tell you I use these bags every week. They are great and one bag can fit plenty of items. It's a great buy.

I'll parrot the other reviews: Strong, sturdy bags, hold a lot, nice to be a little greener by not adding a lot of plastic bags to the landfill, and all that. My only nit is that the packers don't notice the little side bottle pockets -- big deal. They do fold flat and fit nicely into the otherwise useless "magazine pocket" behind the front seat of my car. The color even matches the interior.
One bonus I didn't expect was that my favorite market gives a tiny discount for using my own bags. Amounts to a few bucks a year...
Another bonus is that the seller included a gift of another reusable bag, similar to the slightly larger bags you get at drug stores and the like. Tucks into the car door pocket and now I have something to use at the drug store, convenient store and like that. Nice.
But one of my favorite things (bonus!) about these bags is that they stay put! I have a huge trunk in my car and when I used the bags the store provides, they would flop and roll all over the trunk, spilling my groceries and I'd have to repack them before I carried them into the house. These bags, with the wide, flat bottom simply stay where you set them. Nice too, when you set 'em on the counter. They sit still and upright making them easier to empty, with no stuff rolling off the counter top.
Now I'm a little greener, and one tiny part of my life is just a little neater and easier. That's worth five stars.

I purchased 2 sets of these bags not really knowing what to expect.
These have turned out to be a wonderful purchase. They are big enough to
hold large boxes of cereal and tall items. They also have a sewn-in corner panel on two opposite sides that you can stand 2 liter bottles; lg Qt juice jugs or even a gallon of milk in ! This keeps the bottles upright so it won't fall over and crush other items in the bag....Works great !! Also; each bag has a heavy cardboard type bottom that is very strong and keeps bags upright on your car seat or in trunk. The bag's fabric is very lightweight but strong and rugged. I use them for everything and they are very durable.
A Great purchase for me--I will be ordering more for myself and as gifts.
