fairly sturdy bags Sep 08, 2009

These bags are certainly sturdy. Up to twice the number of items that fit in a regular store plastic bag can be placed in one of these. So far they don't seem to be in danger of tearing though a few frayed looking spots are starting to develop after six months of weekly use. Carrying these is much easier than store bags as well. The handles are softer and quite a bit wider so they don't dig into your hands nearly as much.
The small board for the bottom of the bag is another story though. They are very fragile. All of them have at least a half dozen serious cracks and are about to break in half. Also, the color on these is light enough that any dirt stands out.
Overall these are pretty good bags as long as you aren't counting on the little boards for the bottoms remaining intact and don't mind washing them occasionally. If dirty bags bother you, consider these in a darker color.

Nice sturdy bags. Great value-it's nice to have bags without a logo. These bags are great for groceries since they stand up straight in the trunk, unlike the plastic bags at the stores that loose there shape and leave groceries all over! Great buy.

I have had these bags for about a month and I really love them. They are very durable and can hold a lot of groceries. It feels really good each time I use them too because I think of all the plastic bags I'm not using. I've had people working at grocery stores comment on them and ask where I got them. So if you're looking into trying reusable bags, these are a good choice. I think they would make a great gift too.

This is the first time I've ever reviewed a product. I've only had them about a month & I love them. Baggers have commented on how great they are. I like that there's no hug logo. I've also used them to hold snacks & drinks when my family goes on car trips. I like the sturdy bottom. They are a little smaller than paper grocery bags but I was amazed at how much they could hold. They don't need to be any bigger.

They stand up on their own, are just the right size and don't have a logo.
They have held up without a tear after months of use.
Highly recommend them.
